We can all agree that getting out of bed in the morning is the worst. However if you're still feeling tired, there may be more to it. Bustle made a list of the weird reasons why you might be tired.

  • You grind your teeth while you sleep (and up to 30 percent of adults do) which can lead to severe headaches and less than restful sleep.
  • Restless leg syndrome might be keeping you (and anyone else in the bed with you) up at night and hindering your sleep. If you wake up in the morning with the blankets all twisted around you and your partner claiming that you were kicking them in your sleep then you may have restless leg syndrome.
  • Sleeping too much which I believe sounds impossible, but it's a thing. If you sleep more than the recommended 7-8 hours a night, you might wake up more groggy than if you got less than 7 hours. Isn't that nuts?!

Whatever the reason might be for you feeling groggy and tired in the morning, just know that we're all feeling the same way, and we all can't wait to crawl into bed again tonight. You are not alone!
