Airlines have been threatening us with this for a while.  And now it looks like they are following through with their threat.Samoa Air just became the first airline to charge people for tickets based on their WEIGHT.  They'll charge up to $4.16 per pound for people and their luggage, instead of having standard ticket prices.  The airline says it makes sense, because weight requires fuel, and fuel drives flight prices.  Airline industry analysts say it's possible we could see this on other airlines too . . . and soon.

What do you think?  Do you think it's fair or not?
