I eat when I am happy, sad, bored, lonely, and, oh, even sometimes when I am hungry too. And, it is usually not a healthy choice of food. But, I can't use my mood to eat bad anymore.

Stress eating is one of the BEST excuses for eating junk food.  It's right up there with "I just worked out so it's fine" and "Technically French fries are a vegetable."  Which is why this is so disappointing.

A new study in the journal "Biological Psychology" found that there's no such thing as stress eating.  In fact, we're more likely to eat a lot when we're in a GOOD MOOD, and eat less when we're anxious.

So if you find yourself "stress eating," it's probably not for comfort . . . it's probably just because you kind of want to eat a bunch of crap and need an excuse. (NY Mag)

Do you believe this study? Is stress eating just an excuse to eat junk?
