It's been two years since actor and comedian Robin Williams took his own life on August 11, 2014, and he would have turned 65 on July 21. His daughter, actress Zelda Williams, discussed coping with the very public loss this week on Netflix's ChelseaIn her first talk show appearance, Zelda told host Chelsea Handler how she dealt with losing her father.

"I just kept going, 'OK, well, today I’m going to get up and love what I do. And then tomorrow I’m going to wake up and be happy and love what I do. And then the next day...' Because that’s all you can do."

Williams, who recently co-starred in Freeform's Dead of Summer horror series, also extolled the benefits of her decision to take a Twitter break (which she's still on). She says her current sabbatical isn't to avoid ugly commentary on her father, but her previous Twitter break definitely was.

"I was actually sent PhotoShopped pictures of his dead body," Zelda told Chelsea. "So I speak openly about this, because there is this sort of sociopathic thing that has started to happen on Twitter. And it's a very strange circumstance, because I don't do it now because of trolling — I actually just like taking a break."

Handler also asked Williams about her choice to come out as bisexual. "Look, it's everyone's choice on whether they want to be open [about their orientation] or not. Me...I think there's a lot of erasure of bisexuality, especially in women; they tend have really bad responses to it," the actress said. "They'll think you can't have a monogamous relationship — and by the way, it doesn't really matter if you want to be not-monogamous or not. Your sexuality doesn't dictate that!"
