2015 Oscar Predictions – Best Picture

Lights, Camera, Action! The time has come and the Oscar’s are right around the corner! While the red carpet is being rolled out, the fierce competition is keeping everyone wondering who will win this year’s academy award.

'Birdman' cleaned house at the Stage Actor’s Guild Awards show in January which makes fans wonder if this is any indication the film could take the Oscar for Best Picture as well. Although, incase you missed the BAFTA’s, the award shows dedicated to British Academy of Film and Television Awards, 'Boyhood' stole the show. Hmm, too much speculation between these two films. After all there’s only one that can accept the award!

In addition to 'Birdman' and 'Boyhood', this year’s nominations for Best Picture also include 'The Theory of Everything', 'Whiplash', 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', 'Selma' and 'The Imitation Game'.

It’s still too early to say who will triumph, but I’m going to go on the record and say 'Birdman' will take it!
