Yesterday, we saw Samantha Johnson of Binghamton on our TV screens as we watched American Idol. Today, I learned of another talented singer through Facebook, Jenna Brophy, who also auditioned! Here is what Jenna had to say about her American Idol experience in Chicago:

I auditioned with Gunpowder & Lead by Miranda Lambert. I sang it well but they told me there were a lot of powerhouse singers last year and that wasn't what they were looking for for this season. This was the last time I was eligible to audition since Idol's age cap is 28 and I was confident I would have made it but when I didn't it was pretty devastating. Overall is was an awesome time in Chicago even though I didn't make it through!"

If you thought Jenna was going to stop chasing her dreams after that audition, you are mistaken! Check out the audition she sent into The Voice when she got home from the Chicago American Idol auctions!
