St. Patrick's Day is quickly approaching -- where will you be going to celebrate?

Here are some of the finest (mostly Irish) establishments in Binghamton and our suggestions for places to get your drink on this St. Patty's Day:

Dillinger's Celtic Pub & Eatery

77 State Street
Binghamton, NY 13901
607-724-7779

The self-proclaimed 'Public Envy #1,' Dillinger's is an upscale, clean, modern bar that's a hit with Binghamton University students and locals alike. There's a dress code and an expectation of conduct. This is not the bar to get sloppy at. But, it's a great choice if you're looking for a more professional setting on St. Patty's Day.

The Belmar Pub

95 Main Street
Binghamton, NY 13905
607-724-5920

Yelp poster 'Arkham R.' put it best:  "A beautifully run down dive which is secretly kept up just enough to make it eternal. The building is painted on the bottom with the colors of the Irish Flag, and on the upper floors with the colors of a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey. This is not a coincidence."

The Belmar is a great spot for lively carrying on. A good mix of patrons and positive vibes -- with special attention to Irish heritage.

McGirk's Irish Pub

1 Kattelville Road
Binghamton NY, 13901
607-648-9988

'There are no strangers at McGirk's, only friends we haven't met,' reads McGirk's t-shirts. McGirk's is an authentic Irish Pub with tons of single malt scotch and Irish beers. Try McGirk's famous beef stew and bask in all of it's Irish glory.

Fitzie's Irish Pub

9 Main Street
Binghamton, NY 13905

*Doesn't serve food

Fitzie's is a casual, dive bar that serves as a great sampling on the local population and provides a low-key environment to grab a brew.

Water Street Brewing Company

168 Water Street
Binghamton, NY 13901
607-217-4546

Water Street is a local microbrewery -- They serve wine, but not liquor. The ordering system is British, so you have to order at the bar. They also offer vegetarian dishes. It's a loud, vibrant spot to grab a few drinks with friends.
