Binghamton is celebrating Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Day by hosting two events. The first one is from 1 to 4pm on the second floor of City Hall and there will be speeches, dance and musical performances. Doors open at 1pm and parking at the city ramps with be free with a validation stamp at the second floor gallery.

This evening, there will be a march from the Doctor Martin Luther King Junior statue at Court Street to the First Congressional Church at the intersection of Main and Front Streets. The march will be followed by speeches from scheduled guests. The march beings at 6pm.

Both events are free and open to the public.
