I'm not sure how much I believe this study, but I could say that about every study I read.  With that being said, everything said in the study does makes sense!

I found this story from Huffington Post and it will definitely leave you looking for your old  yearbook to see who is still married.

According to the study, the more intensely you smiled in your yearbook photo, the less likely you are to get divorced.  People who didn't smile at all were five times more likely to get divorced at some point in their lives compared to the people who smiled the biggest.

Matthew Hertenstein is a psychology professor at DePauw University in Indiana.  He has two theories...the first one is that people who are naturally happy and smiling go on to have happier marriages.

The second is that people who smiled big when a photographer told them to are naturally more obedient...which can also be a trait that holds marriages together.

I'm going with the second theory!  I like to call it the "whipped" theory!  :)  And, by the way, do not get my high school senior photo confused with Tom Selleck!
