Freaky Friday- Woman Wakes Up to Pet Her Cat But Turns Out It’s A Wild Raccoon

raccoon in sprinklerOn Wednesday morning, a 73-year-old woman in Massachusetts woke up and thought she felt her cat snuggling up to her in her in bed, so she rolled over and started petting it. Only it was actually a raccoon that had gotten into the house through the cat door!  And when she went to pet it thinking it was her cat, it freaked the raccoon out and it ended up attacking her! She was hospitalized with scratches and bites on her face and fingers, and they’re testing her for rabies.

Can you imagine thinking you’re cuddling your cat and then get attacked by a wild animal that had gotten into your house and into your bed?!?!? CRAZY!
