Nicki Minaj Remix of Maroon 5’s ‘Sugar’ Is Awesome But Lazy [WATCH]

So this remix is all sorts of awesome! Maroon 5 apparently took to the internet to warn their fans about the Sugar Cube Remix saying it was "creative". Honestly, it's was so short at the beginning of the song that you may not even realize it was a remix. It sounds as if she or her producer just gave up on the remix and let the rest of the track play after messing with the beginning.

Now, I love a good remix. Remixes have always been a great tool to liven up a track everyone loves, even if it's too slow for club play. Even Skrillex took Gaga's Poker Face and made it epic for the night clubs!

I say finish the track, Nicki! The beat was added in too and then just drops off after she raps some lyrics about Jolly Ranchers and stripping for her boyfriend. In my opinion, it's lazy. Good, but lazy.
