Tanya’s Midweek Crisis Letter- My Husband Said Wants Me To Wear Perfume

Here is what this week's letter writer has to say:

The other day my husband asked me why I didn't wear perfume. I said it's for old ladies, and I prefer scented lotion. Then he said scented lotion isn't "strong" enough and that my natural smell is a little "musky". Was my husband being a jerk? Should I wear perfume to make him happy, even though I hate it?

I don't think your husband was being a jerk...I think he was being honest. Have you went and tried on perfume lately? Because I don't think perfume is just for old ladies. You should go to the mall and try some out. I wouldn't rule perfume out because there are some really nice ones out there. But if you really don't like wearing perfume...don't. Your husband married you and your "musk" and he will live!
