TSA Made Thousands of Dollars in Loose Change Last Year

Anyone who knows me, knows that I save all loose change in a glass jar. Anytime I see change on the ground, I grab it. Anytime I get change from a purchase, I throw it in my jar. It really adds up!

The last time I emptied my jar, I counted $3,000 out of it! If you don't believe me, talk to the Transportation Security Administration.

According to CBS News, last year alone the TSA made $675,000 from loose change people left behind!

Can you imagine having an extra half of million dollars just from loose change?

Whether people don't want to bother to carry the change in their pocket, don't have an extra hand to get it or don't think it's worth it, the change is being left behind.

Remember when it used to be good luck to pick up a penny? I guess we are all set in the 'luck' department to grab that penny!
