How About An ATM That Dispenses…Cupcakes?!

Attention cupcake lovers!  This might be the icing on the cake for you!  A 24-hour cupcake-dispensing "ATM" is set to open in New York City.  This will give you access to buying fresh, gourmet goodies with the swipe of your credit card anytime you want!

The Beverly Hills-based company has already opened cupcake ATMs in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas.

The machine can dispense up to 20 varieties by way of a touch screen that works like a bank ATM's: Make a selection, swipe a credit card, and out comes your treat in a brown and pink box.

Each cupcake costs $4.25.  The machine can hold up to 760 cupcakes at a time and will be restocked two or three times a day to keep things fresh, said Charles Nelson, 44, who with his wife founded Sprinkles Cupcakes.  (New York Post)

I like the idea but I personally think that something like this would work better in a bigger city rather than a place like Binghamton.  What are your thoughts?
