Ever since I can remember, water has been the one key ingredient to good health. From helping you feel fuller longer, to keeping you hydrated and being great for your skin, water has always been the best choice for your body.

However, I recently read an article from the Harvard Health Letter that is saying that water has no foundation in scientific evidence at all. In fact, it is possible to be harmful for some people.

They conclude that 30 to 50 ounces of fluid intake a day is ideal, and that works out to more like four to six (8-ounce) glasses a day. The KEY word is "fluid." According to them, it doesn't even have to be water. Just some sort of fluid in general.

They do say that it is very important, especially if you're in the middle of a heat wave to pay attention to signs of dehydration, which include dizziness, weakness, heart palpitations, and dark urine.

Regardless of what the study says, you will never convince me that water isn't a better option than soda. I am now 3 weeks soda-free and just from that small change I feel so much better.
